Since 1887, the National League of Postmasters has distinguished itself as the premiere, professional organization
for Postmasters. Today, it is still representing the interests of Postmasters and their families and their employer in a manner
that brings credit to itself and all those who proudly proclaim membership.
The National League of Postmasters has served Postmasters for
more than 100 years, and we are the only organization founded by Postmasters. Our founder, Oscar Pogue, worked tirelessly
to ensure that Postmasters receive civil service protection under the law—something that we take for granted. That same
commitment to the welfare of Postmasters, OICs, PMRs and EAS employees continues today, as the LEAGUE represents all its members
through alliance with officials of the U.S. Postal Service and members of Congress on Capitol Hill.
